GEORGEOUS GEENA DAVIS
I'm not just another pretty redhead! I am a charming, mild mannered lovely dog weighing a svelte 13 pounds. While I am an active 3 year old terrier, my personality is calm and sweet. I was at the Riverside County pound for such a long time. The escape ride out of the shelter "Thelma & Louise" style was an exhilarating trip to freedom with Loving All Animals! I am happy to have a warm cozy bed and long walks on the grass outside. But something is still missing.....and that's a loving home with you! My adoption donation includes spaying/shots & microchiping. To meet me call (760) 776-9397 or (760) 219-7002 after hours.

Guinness Greets You!
|
|
I am only 3 years old and too young to drink Guinness whiskey, but I would love to celebrate St. Patrick's Day at your place. I am an Irish lad, part Silky Terrier, tiny as a leprechaun weighing just 6 pounds. Rescued by Loving All Animals from the the County shelter in Thousand Palms, I think I got out of there just in the nick of time. I am brimming with happiness and joy, and love the company of both dogs and humans. With the Luck of the Irish, I will get a wonderful home soon! My adoption donation includes neutering, all shots, and microchip. To schedule a Meet and Greet with me, call (760) 219-7002.

| A Good Samaritan found two precious dogs huddled in the bushes outside a major shopping mall, abandoned, badly matted, & starving. We are not sure how the two dogs were connected, but now they are both in fabulous homes. |

MACY
The tiny grey poodle, was frightened and took awhile in a loving foster home to become socialized. We think she may have been the victim of a puppy mill or backyard breeder (another reason not to buy from a pet store or breeder!). Loving All Animals' foster mom Julie Kendall helped Macy heal from whatever trauma she experienced, and the dog continues to come out of her shell with loving human contact. Macy is now on her way home with Jim and Kirsten Smith who live near Vancouver, Canada. Macy is still a bit skiddish when picked up, but with patience and time the Smiths believe she will overcome this. She loves to cuddle with them. Kirsten reports, "We are so happy with our baby. We love her to pieces. And Jack (their little male poodle) is doing ten times better with a new one than we expected."
Macy just sent us an email with her own update:
Dear Janet, all the volunteers, my foster mom Julie and the Biggi family, i would like to thank you all for taking me in and helping find my new family. Mom and dad said it was a joy to meet you all and they think the work you are doing is just wonderful. Even that I am a California girl, I will soon become a Canadian and when I come down next season I will be a snowbird. That is a Long way from being abandoned on Macy"s parking lot. I now have a mom, dad and big brother. I am settling in well and jack is showing me the ropes. Jack has been a only dog for four years and the centre of attention but is sharing all the love and attention with me now. Yesterday we went into Yuma and I hot two new harness and some bows for my hair. The day before my dad and mom groomed my face and paws. This morning we went for a walk along the high line canel and for the first time I got to run with jack without a leash on, what a joy. My mom and dad just laughed and laughed. Some pictures to follow. Thank the Biggi family for allowing my parents to see their yard with all the wonderful birds.
Jim, Kirsten, Jack & Macy.

NORDSTROM
The little Shih Tzu, was adopted by local residents, Judith & Mike Lund, before we could post him on our website. Lindi brought him to our Mobile Mutts PetCo event, and Judith fell in love with this handsome dog. Unlike Macy, Nordstrom was an outgoing playful animal from the beginning. He is the dog on the right hand side of the photo, and lives with another Shih Tzu who could be his twin. Nordstrom fit into his new home like he had been there forever. Nordstrom is the new popular dog in his neighborhood, greeting everyone when they go for walks. Mike reports, "Every time I sit down, he jumps on my lap. I taught him to dance. I'm amazed at what a good dog he is. We're real excited about having him!"

PENNY LANE GOES HOME
Darin Trinchero volunteers to work with the animals at the County Coachella Valley Animal Campus. It is no surprise that he and his wife Melanie are also wonderful pet owners. They recently lost one of their little dogs, but though still grieiving, they set out to find another. They saw Penny Lane on the Loving All Animals' website. This tiny 4 pound Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix was dumped at the Coachella Valley Animal Campus by an owner who had her only a short time, but claimed to have too many dogs in his home. It was another love at first sight meeting when the Trincheros cuddled Penny. Darin describes Penny's homecoming, "Penny came and fit in with our family of dogs right away. They know she's the littlest one, and Pepper our poodle immediately took on the role of her protector. Penny is like a baby, and loves to lay on her back and get belly rubs. I think her time at Loving All Animals helped her recover from her past neglect". Penny Lane will live happily ever after with Darin, Melanie, Pepper and their 2 other small dogs.

HELP RESCUE OUR BIG DOGS LIKE DUNCAN WAS RESCUED
There are so many big dogs needing homes in shelters, and the situation at the San Bernardino City Shelter is even more grim than most. Duncan is one of the lucky ones. Loving All Animals' Mobile Mutts program wants to do more to help the larger dogs. We met a wonderful couple, Chris & Myrna Grigorian, at Country Club Vet with their 13-yr-old Golden Retriever dog Clouseau. They requested our assistance in getting a rescue dog. Our internet search showed 3 Retrievers available in San Bernardino, and Chris & Myrna didn't hesitate to make the one hour trip. Myrna talks about Duncan, "He's a wonderful dog. He's so funny, so cute, a rascal. We love him dearly." Clouseau and 2-year-old Duncan started out sleeping 2 feet apart, but now sleep nestled against each other. Duncan wears an elegant nametag with crystals in the shape of a dog bone, symbolizing how treasured he is by his new family.

ELVIS ROCKS!!!!!!
|
|
Like my famous namesake, I am one cool doggie dude! I sport a beautiful brown coat that looks a sable mink. I am a handsome Dachshund/Chihauhau blend, 2 years old and about 11 pounds. It was a "Blue Christmas" and I sang "Jailhouse Rock" when I ended up at the pound on Christmas Eve. Rescued from the Coachella Valley Animal Shelter and now safe with Loving All Animals, I am looking for new digs.....somewhere where "I can't help falling in love with you!" Spirited yet calm, I will make a great family pet or perfect companion for a retired couple. I get along well with canine companions. My foster mom thinks I am potty trained so "Let me be your Teddy Bear" at your house. My adoption donation fee includes neutering, vaccines and microchiping. "Are you lonesome tonight?" If so, call (760) 219-7002 to schedule a date with me!

WHO'S YOUR DADDY? NO REALLY, WHO'S YOUR DADDY?
This beautiful Bichon dog wanted by a Mobile Mutts client was in the quarantine area at the Riverside County shelter in Riverside. The dog was labeled "fearful" and only available to a rescue organization. However, the Bichon mysteriously wasn't in her assigned kennel and the shelter employee repeated "Oh no, oh no" on a phone call to track her down. In a surprise to the staff, the little dog gave birth to 4 puppies in the middle of the previous night. A few quick phone calls to LAA headquarters and everyone was unanimous, "Take them All!". Cookie Briney, who has years of experience in animal care, agreed to foster the little brood. Doris Hale, who wanted the Bichon, was willing to wait for the dog she named Valentine during the 8 weeks of nursing. Valentine is going home around Valentine's Day, joining a dog loving family with 3 other Bichons. Loving All Animals will need homes in February for the 4 puppies named Romeo, Juliet, Cupid and Bachus, the 2 boys and 2 girls growing bigger by the day. Given their size and coloring, the pups are not pure breed Bichons, and their fatherhood remains a mystery. Any guesses? Valentine, now a happy joyful dog, was turned into the shelter as an "over the counter stray". It's possible there is more than one father. And Valentine isn't talking!

MEET JOYFUL NOELLE
I am a special, joyful girl named Noelle, rescued by Loving All Animals.I am a small 1 1/2 yr old poodle weighing just over 7 pounds. They found me at the San Bernardino City Shelter where I heard there is not a good outcome for most animals. I was a hungry little stray girl on the cold streets of San Bernardino when the animal control officers found me. Now I am fed, warm and loved. I am an active little girl who lets her presence be known. I am filled with joy & happiness and want to bring holiday cheer to your home all year long. I don't require mistletoe to give lots of hugs and kisses. My wish is a home with you!
My adoption fee is $200 which includes spaying, vaccinations, and microchip. To arrange a visit with me call (760) 219-7002.

Take Holly Home for the Holiday
Holly's only holiday wish is for a loving home. Here is her story......I am a fabulous looking one-year-old poodle "blend". I get along well with other small dogs. My foster mom describes me as "a happy playful little girl who adores people and is full of love and life". I'm not very big, weighing about 9 pounds. I was a stray dog in the streets of Rialto when a man in a big truck picked me up. I didn't know where he was taking me. The attached picture shows me at the Devore Animal Shelter where I felt like a sad little prisoner. Thank you to Loving All Animals for rescuing me. I asked Santa for a loving home for Christmas. Decorate your home and your heart with a "little Holly" this season. My adoption fee includes spaying, vaccinations, and microchipping.
To visit with me call (760) 219-7002.

All the other Kitties have found a home. Please take me home. My name is Ebony and I am 1 1/2 years old

EBONY'S FOUND A HOME
Ebony, our beautiful black cat, finally found her "furever" home. Loving All Animals' volunteer, Victoria Bolivar, called to say she knew Paula Wentworth who wanted to adopt a rescue cat. Mobile Mutts quickly emailed Ebony's picture and then delivered Ebony to her new home. The two year old cat ran nervously under the bed at first, but 10 minutes later happily enjoyed getting petted by her new owner. We are so grateful to The Pet Hotel at Barkingham Palace for providing loving care to Ebony for many months. Ebony was part of a group of cats we rescued, two mamas and their six kittens, from the Riverside County Coachella Valley Animal Campus. Ebony was the final cat to get a home. Cats have the toughest time in public shelters, it is estimated that in some areas only 10% ever get adopted. Thanks to Victoria and our other volunteers whose networking gets homes for our animals!
