Started 17 years ago by Pegasus Riding Academy has chosen Loving All Animals as their partner for this year's Pets on Parade luncheon on July 18th at the Renaissance Esmeralda. Our own Janet MacAfee, will receive the annual The Circle of Life Award for her years of rescuing animals. Marylynn & Andy Gladstein, Founders of Dogs for Our Brave will receive the inaugural Hallmark Award created to honor individuals who make a difference in people’s lives using animals
Janet is a passionate animal activist at Loving All Animals. Thousands of dogs have been rescued, re-homed, and given a second chance through her hard work and dedication. Janet also writes a column in the Coachella Valley Weekly about pets, rescue, animal well-being and welfare both inside and outside of the Coachella Valley.
Andy is a real estate developer and philanthropist. He and wife Marylynn started the Gladstein Charitable Foundation and Dogs for Our Brave. It is dedicated to providing service dogs for men and women who have been wounded while serving our country. A rigorous training program is undertaken with each dog to do a number of useful tasks. The foundation pays veterinary bills and offers food for life to the dog.
The luncheon is all about the love we have for our pets. The cost is $70 per person and tickets are available here. Together with tickets, anyone who wants to place an ad in the annual POP Tribute Book can download the order form.
